What is Personal Data?
Personal Data is any information about personal or factual circumstances that relate to a person. This may include name, date of birth, email address, postal address or telephone number, but also online identifiers such as IP addresses or device IDs.
What is Special Category Data?
Special category data is Personal Data that needs more protection because it is sensitive. This includes Personal Data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data. As well as, data concerning health, a person’s sex life; and a person’s sexual orientation. In order to lawfully process Special Category Data, it is necessary to consent to the processing.
What is processing?
“Processing” is any operation or set of operations that is performed on Personal Data, whether or not it is done automatically. The term is broad and covers virtually any handling of data.
Who is responsible for data processing?
Elyzio Inc. What are the legal bases for processing?
We should have at least one of the following legal bases to process your Personal Data:

Except for instances where you contact us directly, your personal data is not processed by us during the purchase or gameplay phases of the Warden’s Will. Our Game is offered on Steam by Valve Corporation and Epic Games by Epic Games, Inc. We may collect certain information from your Steam or Epic account, in accordance with the terms of those platforms and your individual privacy settings. We have no influence or control over how Valve Corporation or Epic Games process your Personal Data. Data Managed by Steam and Epic Games Includes:
- Device information (including but not limited to, IP address, network type, OS version, time zone settings, etc.)
- Purchase history (not included bank details)
- Playtime
- Achievements
- IP addresses
- Friend lists
- These data points are anonymized and aggregated for statistical analysis, and we do not receive anyuser-specific personal details from these platforms.Game Analytics and Usage DataWe use GameAnalytics, a third-party analytics service, to track user behavior in the game for improving gameplay and user experience. GameAnalytics collects data such as:
- Level completion status
- Number of attempts to pass levels
- Number of lives used
- Weapon and character choicesThese data points are used to analyze player engagement and optimize the game’s features. - Contacting usThe processing of personal data depends on the nature of your contact. In addition to your name and email address or phone number (if you shared) we usually collect the context of your message, which may also contain certain personal data. Please note that if you contact us to exercise your rights, we may need to verify your identity, which will require the processing of your personal data.
- Legal basis for processing your personal data We may need to process your personal data to enter into or fulfill a contractual relationship with you. This includes, in particular, providing support, corresponding with you, and fulfilling our contractual obligations. Therefore, the processing of this data is based on the necessity to perform our contractual obligations.
Purpose of processing your personal data
We may use your personal data for the following purposes:

- How long will my data be stored? To the extent necessary, we process and store your Personal Data for the duration of our business relationship, which includes, for example, the initiation and execution of a contract. In addition, we are subject to various retention and documentation obligations, which result, among other things, from the statutory minimum retention periods and other retention periods prescribed in this sense, e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law. Depending on the document and the legal regulation, the periods specified there for storage and documentation are five to ten years.

- How do we secure your data? At Elyzio, safeguarding your personal data is our top priority. We employ a comprehensive range of security measures, both technical and organizational, to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Some of these measures include, but are not limited to:

- Who receives your personal data When necessary, data may be shared with competent authorities or regulatory bodies to comply with legal obligations, both locally and internationally. Additionally, data may be shared with internal service providers and business partners who support the IT infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of in-game services. Lastly, anonymized and statistical data related to the game (such as regional player counts and playtime statistics) may be shared with third parties for analytical or marketing purposes. This data is used to support Elyzio’s game development strategies and contribute to improvement efforts.

- In the event of a data breach, we have protocols in place to promptly respond. We will immediately assess the situation, contain the breach, and mitigate its impact. If we determine that your personal data may have been compromised, we will notify you as quickly as possible, providing details of the breach and outlining the steps we are taking to protect your information and prevent future incidents.
Special category data
Special categories of personal data are not processed under any circumstances.
Minors
The processing of personal data relating to a person younger than 16 years requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect any data from users under the age of 16, unless verifiable parental or legal guardian consent is obtained through direct offline contact. If you suspect that a user is a minor, please report it to us as soon as possible. If we learn that a child has provided personal data with us in violation of applicable law, we will delete any personal data we have processed, unless we have a legal obligation to keep it, and terminate the minor’s account if applicable.
Automated Decision Making
Automated decision-making refers to decisions made solely by automated systems without any human input. In our processes, no such automated decision-making takes place.
